School fire Dubbo

In the early hours of today, firefighters from Dubbo and Delroy responded to a school fire in Myall St, Dubbo. Firefighters arrived within five minutes to find a school building engulfed in flames. Due to the severity of the fire, the firefighters called for more assistance. Firefighters from Wellington and Gilgandra and the Duty Commander responded to assist. The fire was burning with such intensity that the challenge for firefighters was to stop the fire spreading to other school buildings. After an intense battle the firefighters brought the fire under control, limiting the damage to the one building. NSWFB fire investigators and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
