Townhouse fire Jamisontown
Published: 29th August 2009
This afternoon firefighters from Regentville, Penrith and Cranebrook responded to numerous Triple Zero calls to a house on fire in Mulgoa Rd, Jamisontown. The first firefighters arrived within fours minutes to find a two storey townhouse well alight. The added risk of the fire spreading to neighbouring townhouses would be a challenge for the arriving firefighters. It was confirmed that all occupants where out of the house, therefore the emphasis turned to extinguishment. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and stopped the spread to other townhouses. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
