Belmore factory fire

In the early hours of this morning firefighters from Lakemba and Campsie were called to a fire in a commercial premise on Burwood Rd Belmore. On arrival additional resources were requested, as flames could be seen coming from the roof of this two storey building. Firefighters from Burwood, Bankstown, Ashfield, Revesby, Marrickville, Riverwood, Concord, Kogarah, Glebe, Alexandria, Rydalmere, Fairfield and Hazardous Materials Unit were responded to assist. The efforts of the firefighters brought the fire under control in a little over an hour. Investigators from the NSW FB and Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
