Fire in a car yard in Bass Hill

Firefighters from Bankstown, Chester Hill, Revesby, Fairfield and the Duty Commander responded to a fire in a car yard in Liverpool Road, Bass Hill early this morning. Crews were on scene in eight minutes to find a caryard showroom engulfed in flames. Fire crews worked for over an hour to contain and extinguish the fire which destroyed the contents of the building and also caused structural damaged. Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
