School fire in Carlingford

Firefighters from Beecroft, Eastwood, Rydalmere and the Duty Commander responded to a fire in a school in North Rocks Road, Carlingford early this morning. On arrival fire crews found a large amount of smoke coming from the rear of the school and discovered a demountable building engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished in around half an hour, with the demountable destroyed. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
