Car accident near the Harbour Bridge

This afternoon firefighters from The Rocks, Neutral Bay, rescue firefighters from Crows Nest, the Duty Commander, Police rescue and Ambulance paramedics responded to a four car accident on the Bradfield Highway near the Harbour Bridge. Fire crews set up a fire protection hose as emergency personnel extricated one person. Traffic was brought to a standstill as a helicopter landed nearby. A total of five people were injured and taken to hospital.
