House fire in Raymond Terrace

Firefighters from Raymond Terrace, Morpeth and Tarro responded to a house on fire in Troman Parade, Raymond Terrace early this morning. Crews arrived to find the house well alight and there were unconfirmed reports that there were no people inside. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly knocked down the fire and completed a search of the house confirming that there were no occupants. The house was severely damaged and investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
