Hang gliding accident

This evening firefighters from Macksville and South West Rocks responded to the Yarrahapinni National Park to assist Police, members of the Volunteer Rescue Association and Ambulance officers with a person in a hang glider stuck in a tree. The person was stuck a considerable distance from the ground and a crane was brought in to assist with the rescue. A combined effort from all emergency personnel at the scene released the person who was taken to hospital.
