Serious car accident in Lidcombe

Firefighters from Lidcombe and rescue firefighters from Bankstown and Burwood were called to a serious car accident on Victoria Street, Lidcombe in the early hours of this morning. Crews were on scene in five minutes to find one person trapped in a vehicle that had crashed into a tree. Firefighters extricated the injured person, who was treated by ambulance officers before being taken to hospital.
