Alpha Strike Team, led by an inspector, consists of tankers from Jerilderie, Corowa, Albury North, Deniliquin and Turvey Park. Bravo Strike Team, also led by an inspector, consists of tankers from Young, Yass, Cowra, Boorowa and Bowral. Firefighters were immediately assigned to the Glenburn area of the Murrindindi-Yea fire where they undertook property protection work. The following day both teams remained in the Murrindindi-Yea fire, carrying out property protection, blacking-out, patrolling and assisting with a containment line between Flowerdale and Glenburn in the northern ranges. NSWFB crews are working extremely hard to help their Victorians colleagues and the community.
