Firefighters from Liverpool and Hazmat specialists from Greenacre responded to a car accident on the M5 at Moorebank early this morning. Fire crews were on scene in seven minutes to find a three vehicle accident resulting in a spill of chemicals that were reacting with mulch causing a small amount of smoke. The driver was able to provide fire crews with the manifest and crews quickly contained and removed the chemicals to a hazmat bin. Firefighters remained on scene until the car was righted to ensure the area was rendered safe.
