Bush fire in Bateau Bay

Firefighters from Bateau Bay, Berkley Vale, The Entrance, Wyong, Wyoming, Terrigal and the Duty Commander were called to a bush fire in Reserve Drive, Bateau Bay this evening. Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received and fire crews battled for over five hours to contain and extinguish the fire which involved approximately six hectares of bush.
