Plane crash in Casula

Firefighters from Horningsea Park, Liverpool, Busby, Bankstown, Hazmat specialists from Greenacre, Urban Search and Rescue specialists and the Duty and Zone Commanders responded to Casula where a plane had crashed into the rear of a house. On arrival crews were confronted with a small plane that had crashed into the rear outdoor entertaining area of a two storey house. Firefighters covered spilt fuel with foam to prevent ignition and set up protective fire hoses. The damage structure was stabilised and firefighters assisted authorities throughout the lengthy investigation.
