Firefighters from Crows Nest and the Duty Commander responded to a collapsed seawall in Baden Road, Neutral Bay this afternoon. On arrival crews found that a seawall near a five storey block of residential units had collapsed. A structural engineer was requested, ten people were evacuated from the apartment building and an exclusion zone covering both land and sea was established. After two engineers reported that the building was safe residents were allowed to return.
