Building fire in Kembla Grange

Early this morning firefighters from Dapto, Unanderra, Wollongong, Warrawong, Albion Park Rail, Coledale, Corrimal, Hazmat specialists from Shellharbour and the Duty Commander responded to a fire in Reddalls Road, Kembla Grange. On arrival fire crews discovered a single level building engulfed in flames and quickly forced entry to the premises. Firefighters set up a fire hose to protect two large LPG cylinders that were at risk, while battling the fire. The blaze was brought under control and extinguished in two hours with the building suffering severe damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
