Townhouse fire in Lake Haven

Firefighters from Toukley, Hamlyn Terrace, Doyalson, Hazmat specialists from Berkley Vale and the Duty Commander responded to a townhouse on fire in Oxford Drive, Lake Haven this morning. Fire crews arrived to find flames leaping through the roof at the front of the single level house. All the occupants of the townhouse were accounted for and firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. The fire was extinguished in less than an hour and crews assisted with the clean up. Four people were treated by ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital.
