Lodgement of Fire Safety Concern

Section 118L of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 allows anyone to provide a written complaint in relation to fire safety.

Whilst it is possible to submit the form anonymously, the powers available to Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) to enter and inspect a building are greater should you choose to include your contact details.

Lodgment of Hoarding and Squalor Fire Risk Concern

If your concern relates to hoarding and squalor activity please use the 'Lodgment of Hoarding and Squalor Fire Risk Concern'. Note that FRNSW cannot inspect residential premises without permission, even if they suspected of being a fire hazard. FRNSW will forward this concern to the relevant Council for action as a health and amenity issue.
